For all the guys that shaved their fuel doors, this question is for you. Where did you end up putting your fuel filler? I'm contemplating a different direction for my build and have the fuel door shaved already. Going to be stock height or lifted 2", so no fuel cell cutout is planned in the bed. The bed that I have was going to be a trailer but now I'm thinking otherwise. I'm looking for something simple but tasteful, open to all ideas. Lemme have em.

I relocated the fuel filler on my Tbird and put it in the passenger side door jamb, its clean and hidden but it would be a little more of a chore to do so on a truck.
You should try to hinge your tailight and mount the filler behind it. Ive seen this done on a few different trucks and it's pretty cool.

I do like the idea of going through the tail light, running it would be pretty easy. The hinge would be the hardest part. Keep em coming guys.

The gray one looks good but the red one doesnt look as nice. Id hinge it from the inside so you wouldnt see them from the outside, you could just pull the mechanism off of a car from a junk yard like a 90's Tbird and modify the hinge and popper to work on your truck.

There was one that I saw that used a double hinge, 2 hinges welded together. This way the tail light gets moved further out of the way.

A hinge off of an old Chevy truck fuel door should move it out plenty, plus it has a spring to hold it closed.

Very cool!
Only problem with our trucks is that the stock location for the tank makes it a long route for the filler neck to the tail light.
I believe the Blazer tanks are behind the rear axle, so it's nice and close to the tail lights.
As I said on MT, I think a gas door on the inside of the bed wall (passenger side) would look clean and be fairly easy to do.
