Y not section the bedsides so u could leave the wheels centered in the wheel wells and the bring the bed forward to the cab wall and plate it in?

I think that looks funky the way u have it imo...

The end result will be nearly seamless, one from a distance won't be able to tell that there is something different here.

Glad to see your dropping the idea of the side stack exhaust as it would make all of us from the south even more stereotypical than we are.........lol.

stack is off. Might have another use for it, might be recycled. Dunno. but it's off and I have another idea for the space

Hey Emjay,

I posted this over on a different thread at mazdatrucking so I figured it would go nicely here.

About welding the front of a reg cab bed to the front of your ex cab bed, to make a long bed out of it.

a quick MS paint of what it would look like.

Welcome to the world of "Southern engineering" You will go far!

If you could duplicate that photo shop, with big tires, then it would look like a 1/4 mile funny car. (No pun intended.) Coming along nicely!
