93 Ranger bodydroppped?
i think it's a nicely done truck, but $2500 for just a body is a bit high for a '93 IN MY OPINION. and yes, i understand body drops start around $3K, but i just couldn't justify spending $2500 on just a body. good luck on the sale either way; i'm sure if you give it some time someone out there will be willing to pay it.
Well I doubt anyone is even gonna bother by the way u guys all hacked the f$&kin add, this truck is clean as hell. And I don't care what the market is like, my company and my wallet is doing the best this year so I say what resession?? I have bagged and/or bodydropped over 30 trucks and have been doing this for over 10 years and I have seen some of the trucks out there and this ranger is super clean, it's obvious none of you have ever bodydropped your trucks to know what's involved, and realize the time and cost of doing one let alone a smokin clean truck that's shaved and has a bunch of other features! It's funny I have dealt with so many like u over the years come to my shop or my friends shops just kicking tires and someday wishing you could afford a bodydrop or even a bag job! I know serious minitruckers when I see them way to hold the sport together guys and thanx for the support!! Drag thru
Oh WOW someone got their panties in a wad. Look bud we are stating our opinion, which we are intitled to, this is an open forum. It doesn't matter what your company and wallet is doing. The market on EVERYTHING right now is low. Vehicles values have dropped especially a "custom" vehicle. There are a plenty of badass rides on this site that the guys have built themselves and understand the work involved. It has nothing to do with the work involved it has everything to do with the market.
just because we dont all have the same opinion as you doesnt mean you need to get all pissy. more than half of guys here have built their trucks themselves. thats the point of building a custom car, you do the work yourself. thats why the minitruck community is so great because there are so many people out there that have done the work themselves and would do anything to help another minitrucker out and to see another minitruck on the road. so dont start saying things that arent true just cause you arent happy with what people say.
^kinda harsh don't you think?
You might not like it but it's only worth what someone else is willing to pay.(market price) You're asking $2500 for just the body? If I'm reading it right. I'm no serious mini trucker or even a mini trucker for the matter but I've body dropped/bagged/shaved etc and I wouldn't pay your asking price. I'm not saying this is you but anyone who does work in their backyard or garage calls them self a shop, so I would rather spend $1k and get an untouched truck that hasn't been built to the tastes of someone else.
Maybe it would help if you showed some pictures of the build process so you can prove the quality behind the price. Just because you've done many trucks over the years doesn't mean you do great work, only that you should. Build pictures would really help justify/unjustify the price.
I noticed you posted this on RangerScene.com but on MazdaBScene.com you have to be a supporter to post for sale ads. If you would like a membership I can move this to the right section.

i know for fact there guys on here that know all to well the work that go's i to doing a bodydrop myself too have done some and iv done stoockflooring both are hard work, but what i dont see is why they have to cost so much i didnt thank there was $3000 of work in doing it and will not pay to have it done, as most of us will more then likely be the same way, we like to do the work ourselfs, we like the pride it gives us in the fact we can say ... i did it...and look at it with a a smile...
and yes iv been in mini truckin mag so i know how to do the work and make it look good at the same time..there are a few of us on here that have been in or on the cover of the mag
we know how things go
i see everyones point of view on this 2500 does seem high for just a body but maybe it is some of the nicest work someones seen and maybe they are willing to pay that price for it you never know can happen
After the first 2 opinions that was enough, I don't need 20 opinions with everyone saying the same damm thing!
And I never asked for an opinion, I started out a $2500 to see if I got any responses, and I did but not the ones a seller would be looking for. Just because some people aren't doing so great market wise doesn't mean everyone is broke! And I know if wanted or needed something I'd find away to make the extra cash! As for the topic? Mods please delete it all, oh and The build is on street source mag if u really want to see this overpriced shitbox!

hahaha thank we pissed him off..lol
can't win em all. you got the same response to the price on rangerscene just not as many responses cause that site isn't near as busy as here. try posting it forsale on ssm that sites alot more busy then this one.
