ya i may be selling my truck now,lol.. damn women cant live with them cant divorce them with out losing everything
I feel your pain. Got divorced many years ago and at the time I had a pristine 71 442 convertible and a Ford fiesta. The wife got the 442, I got the fiesta. Then she traded the car in at a dealer for another fiesta because she thought the 442 was too big..they gave her 800.00 in trade, the car was worth 20,000. I cried for a year and it still pisses me off
an easy way to check if you have aftermarket mono leafs is to look at the bushing at the rear, the Bell tech mono leaves had a red neoprene bushing where as factory bushings are black rubber.
though to my experience, even with no shocks, the aftermarket leaf springs are nice and stiff with a decent ride quality, When I took them out to put in bags a buddy wanted them for his hot rod hudson, he was soo impressed by them, could be somone hacked the original set up, thats prolly more likely
Took a torch to em or pulled a few out of the pack.
If you only have a couple o springs in the spring pack back there thats it.
helper springs or an airbag towing kit are also some cheap options!!
The Air Ride kits for towing leveling are cheap.
wow...ouch..... that hurts even me
