What kind of welder do you own?

I only paid $1400 for mine with 2 alum spool guns and a tig torch.

Ha the cost of a 220v 100' long extension cord I could install it. Trust me if I had the $$$ it would have been done. The wife dropped a lil over $500 for the entire welding setup for me as a B-day gift so I will NEVER complain about that. Next big investment is a larger compressor. Then plasma and 220 welder. Then... well yea you know more metal working tools and shiz.

Or if your breaker is close buy a new breaker for 220V add 2x110v wires and a common to it and run your line anywhere you want to a recepticle.. I have 2 220v outlets in my garage now and it only cost about 50 bucks and half hours work...

Yup for sure. Our breaker is in the laundry room.... on the other side of the house. I think I measured something like 120' linear feet of wire needed. Literally on the opposite side of the house. All future stuff it will happen when I get bigger compressor.

Thats a good distance away... or buy a 220v generator lol.

I have a standard 140 amp 110V Lincoln MIG.........

and a really big Lincoln IdealArc TIG-300/300 with a Bernard cooler and thumb amptrol.


I would like to upgarade to a 230V Power MIG and also to a newer Precision TIG.

Just picked up a new one this week

Lincoln Tig 175 Square Wave, have not used it yet, cant wait...

then my old Miller 251, all my crap is at my shop now. And the shop stuff, Hypertherm Plasma, and my buddy just bought 2 new Lincoln 215 XT's one in pic the other still in the box




and the Esab with the spool gun, and lastly, the Lincoln Pro Mig 140

Danm man thats alot of welders.
