wut kind of oil do you guys recommend

Hey guys i have a 90 b2200 with the 5 speed and i jus got the moter rebuilt and i wanted to know wut kind of oil do you guys recommend.also wanted to change the tranny fluid an rearend fluid, i was looking at royal purple but thats way to expensive,maybe something a little cheaper. i would really appriciate your feedback

I would never cheap out on fluids personally
especially since you just rebuilt your motor
research some of royal purples break in oils.

If you don't have the money to do synthetics all around i would be sure to use a synthetic in your
new rebuilt engine after the break in period.

the only oil i use is mobile 1 full synthetic in my jeep and my wifes car. my mazda doesnt run so it gets no oil lol

I have been using Mobile 1 full synthetic in my Dodge for the past 2 years as well as in all previous cars.
nothing else has gone in my trucks/cars since i can remember

if you want it to last a long while id suggest a nice synthetic oil. royal purple is a really good oil and you can use the oil for more then 3000 miles.... ams oil is good for 10,000 miles................. after a good break in period you could use a cheaper oil....

Maz recs a good 10W-30 for the trucks in normal climates,5w-20 in winter if u get a lot of below freezing days. Pennzoil is a good all purpose oil that aint too pricey.bj

i've heard if u break in with synthetic you should run synthetic, or if u use normal oil for breakin, use normal oil

amsoil in my vehicles, all them, this stuff is the best for your buck the oil in my Mazda is good for about 10,000miles before i have to change it out and that's a guarantee

just a word of caution.if u have an old truck that hasnt been rebult amd is running old gaskets,watch for oil seeps if u go synthetic.bj
