2.2l don't have intake manifolds that come over the top of the motor. . . Its a 2.6l. . .

I'm just going by what he told me. He said it is a rare 2.2 fuel injected motor.

did the pump die while sitting? Did the in tank sock get clogged? Is it even getting fuel? is it getting spark? what exactly is it doing? Crank and no fire? sensor not plugged in? talk it out with us bro....I know it sucks when ya got no one to help. I had my TB go on my kia and my own brother wouldnt even help me tow it home....I pushed it part way.

fuel injected 2.2 does exisit they are rare

He not getting any fire from the coil. Traced all the wires and all seems to be good. Even tried to hook up a vacum dist and still no fire. The coil has power its just not trigging when to fire. Ran power right from the batt to make sure there was no faulty switch. He said it was running fine when he parked it. Not sure if the brain in the dist went bad....not sure how but who knows? I hope someone sees this and can shed some light to help get the truck back on the road!!

LOL its a FI 2.2 they were rare, this is my problem!

I get Fuel, no spark........I have replaced everything but the dizzy.......coil.. cap rotor... main Relay..... ignitor.... but here is the catch i dont have a great wiring diagram... i have power to coil all through cranking... Just no spark from coil. i understand that it could be the deal inside of the dizzy but i have so many hours and so much money into chasing the problem i just really dont care GRRR


And everyone here in my town is always trying to gt me to help them.... and no one helps me haha sux ass.

is ur distributor gettin power? ?

Is the ignition control module gettin power? ?

If so. . You may be lookin at a new computer. . .
