I'm just not a huge fan of it josh. Methanol is corrosive and wears parts prematurely. Granted there are times when it has to be used but why not do everything possible to lower the need.

Ya i got ya, alot of guys use it on s10forum and haven't had any problems. And semis use it, like i said. I don't know if they have valves similar to us but they use the same airline.... Its up to you though man! I live in alot warmer climate so i don't have to run it as long as you northeners would!!! haha

I know quite of owner/operator truck drivers try not to use an over abundance of it cause it slowly eats stuff. A semi trailer brake valve can run $60 to hundreds depending, and tractor valves are the same boat.
I'm not trying to scare of it's use I just don't care to use it in mine if I can.
We had 2 inches of snow in town first week of june granted it was gone that day, winters aren't three months up here.

haha it snowed like 5-6 inches here this last winter and it was the first time i've seen that much snow in 9 years....
