never thought of that. But I had planned on plumbing the dumps out side.

could build a 1/4 plate lid that bolted down

I've used this stuff many of times but getting it the this kind of air system could become a pain

Lots of good ideas there. I wouldn't have a problem with the valves in the cab. Can't say I have ever heard of the valve body exploding (assuming your running normal pressure). Otherwise the only maintenance issue would be O rings and the electric coil. Again, this is assuming the valve exhaust goes OUTSIDE the cab LOL. Depending on your skill level with a propane torch you could actually mount the valves on the back wall of the cab and plumb them with polished and clearcoated copper line. Stuff works great for air lines.

in the jack box would prolly be ok as far as noise goes..you could also use a marina grade battery box and mount it in the bed

copper I never thought of that for hard line sections. I can get 1/2" and good fittings all day long at work and cheap.

There ya go - now your thinking. Did the daughters ENTIRE airline system in copper hardline except for a softline section around the notches and a softline section at the front air bags. Nice part of the system is once you get the leaks fixed in the lines - it's permanent! Have left the truck aired up for over a month - no problems

I always jus used a lil syringe n sucked some air brake antifreeze into it, and pulled off one of my air lines at the tanks and squirted it in, if you use PTC fittings, its no hassle at all and IMO a hell of alot easier than tryin to find a good place to put the valves to accomidate for winter weather
