im with you "thebeaumartin" on the seth build ups, hes good and all but why so much focus on just him.

if i owned half the shit he did (seth)or even had a shop with real power and parts with zero rust, id be putting my mechanical engineering degree to some real use and building one crazy bad ass mini. for now ill just wrench on my canadian made b2200, with all its custom rust.

I don't feel a traditional is any better than stock floor. The only plus, is it leaves more room for exhaust and is easier to keep the floor cool, and its cheaper for those paying for it. I've done both, I prefer sitting in a stock floored truck because of the room, but traditionals can be roomy too.

Personally, I'd stock floor my truck if I got the chance again.

I will also agree with other people, there are a lot of better fabricators out there that are far better than me. And I never claim to be the best.

my standard bd has plenty of room. i guess it depends on how far you wanna go with the bd. if its to the doors, id say a mixture of traditional and stock floor. if its to the rocker, then traditional is fine by me. my only concern with the stock floor would be raising the tranny tunnel. then you gotta make room for the heater core and stuff like that behind the dash. and to seth, its cool to see that you didnt get pissed about what the others are saying. they werent bashing you but rather bashing your occult followers. it takes a big man. no you arent the best....yet. everyone has to start somewhere and you have a great start. keep your focus and move forward.

Personally, I prefer a traditional BD but I think that its just because I'm an old school kinda guy and thats what I grew up with.

On the Seth matter, I think that his work is awesome but even better than his work is the way the way in which he presents his products and markets himself as a fabricator. You don't see too many people around 20 with tech articles in MT, a shop, own business, web site and a great start on a career. His pictures are always clean and clear like his products. He writes with proper gramar, doesn't bash others work and doesn't make promises that he can't keep. I guess thats what you call being a professional. I don't worship the guy at all, for me this is a hobby and would never want to do it for a full time job. I think that he does good work and is someone that I would take my vehicle to, but thats about as far as it goes.



I find it weird that you would single someone out for people liking their work. If you wanted to premote someone elses work or voice your opinion there are way better ways of doing it.

Usually I wouldn't post my opinion on a subject like this but I miss mine and Hexor's god debates.

That's kinda what I'm looking for. Little things I'm going to run in with doing either of them.

yeah i think he is good and was not disrespecting him one bit but it would be nice to see props given to others as well as seth like bill from ekstensive metalworks or rocky or aaron iha there is a ton of them out there that do sick ass work

Maybe its because I post here and they don't? I've heard that on SSM before. People are all over Max's feet, because hes there and he helps. People still respect people like Aaron Iha and Bob Grant, but its not heard as often because they rarely post.
