BEst way to body drop.

Are you guys mostly stfbd or standard? Could someone point me in the direction of some good threads. I read Seth's article in mini truckin. Any certain concerns with either one? Thanks

Well I can give you my oinion. My truck is done standard (heck it was the only way back in 92 ) If I ever build another truck I will do a stock floor. While it is more work I really feel it is a better way. Everything still fits well in the cab, you don't loose any headroom and overall to me it just seems a lot cleaner. No disrespect to Seth's article because that article is a good one (and the yellow truck in that article is sooo sweet ) and seths's work is excellent...

stockfloor is better standard bodydrops suck but a whole new frame from the firewall back is needed so its more work....not being an ass but why does everyone worship seth???? he is just another metal worker if you want to worship someone how about Aaron Iha he is way better

Building the frame is no big deal. Doin one for my dually. Just lookin to see what other guys are doing. I just mentioned that I read seth's article.

no man that was not for you it was for everyone else lets see some pics of the dually....im just tired of all this seth is the best crap on here yeah is work is clean but there is a ton of peoples work that is better and thay get no porps on this site and im not sure why everyone is jocking seth..

I got a long way to go. I just don't have a whole lot of time to work on it. Waiting on some parts, got the steel tubing for the new frame. And now I got to get started on my son's truck.

yeah looks like you have your hands full with that dually i cant wait to see it done i like those bodys thay look good keep us posted

I'm in no hurry with it. I figure when I get done there won't be much of the original thing left.
