And there's really no reason why it shouldn't be that cheap. With how rich the oil companies are, they can afford to give it away.

we here in new zealand are currently at $2.12/L, fucking crazy and the government is planing on putting more tax on it, Funny how petrol is so expensive but the oil companies are reporting biggest profit ever, like 4 billion or something....arseholes...lol

Totally agreed. You guys,Europe and Asia have it the worst. It's amazing you've all lasted as long as you have paying those insane prices.

The reason we all complain is the majority of us drive huge gas guzzling SUVs and trucks and love our good ol' V8s and when you're spending $120 to fill up your vehicle atleast twice a week,well...it hurts.

In my case,I do lots of driving. I have to drive 100km one way to school, I work about 35km away and I have to use my truck at work sometimes,so I'm pretty much driving all over the place. My truck has a 73L tank and I fill it up at 1/4 tank and it's still around $70 to fill it,and I need to fill up atleast 2 or 3 times a week.

So let's say I fill up 3 times a week. (Twice during the work week, and once on the weekend is pretty normal for me). Let's use the figure of $1.35/L for my gas cost which is what it's at right now. Assuming I'm spending $70 on each fillup, that's costing me just over $200/week.

Multiply that over the course of the month and that's a minimum of $800 spent on fuel. So you see how that eats significantly into the average consumer's pocket.

I also live in a pretty rural area where the only "public transportation" is a Taxi. There's no buses or trains within a 30 minute drive from where I live,so you basically have no choice but to drive, and I pay the premium for it.

just be lucky that you guys don't own a fleet company and have to pay their fuel bill..... the company i work for only has 2 service vehicles on the road.... and it cost around $600 a week to keep the 2 going.....

...I've got a secret to tell you guys, but I dunno if its a good idea to tell you all yet. I need to get it put into the works with my vehicle first before I release it to you all.

Its actually amazing that it has'nt picked up yet except till just recently with only one car maker.

But I know how to retrofit them to vehicles without the technology and make it work. Which is why I'll be filthy rich helping people out with their old vehicles keeping them being forced to buy new vehicles to get this technology..

MUAHAHAHAHA! Sticking it to carmakers and oil companies all at once!
