another plus with the yota bolt pattern is that there are SO MANY freakin OEM wheels that will fit...obviously you have to take into consideration offsets but just image most ANY Japanese 5 lug wheel would fix! Lexus, Infinity, Honda, Mazda, KIA, even some chevy, most Ford and the list goes on. The yota bolt pattern is probably the most ocmmon one out there and the possibilities are endless

does the 89-95 toyota rear end bolt right up? or do you have to shorten the drive shaft? or any other mods??

I think the yoke is different... i.e. it won't bolt up. I'm sure someone would know though.

Did you mean with the yota suspension or Mazda suspension? I do not know about the yota suspension But I can tell you about the Mazda.

On a BD'ed dawg with Mazda suspension, 2 wheel drive sheetmetal, (4x4 only helps if you are not B'ed) without narrowing the suspension, the offests are as follows to be dead sure you will tuck...

7 inch wide rim you need about a +32
7.5 inch wide rim you need about a +39
8 inch wide rim you need about a +45
8.5 inch wide rim you need about a +54

Hope that helps.

Based on what I have seen Seth from twisted say I would guess that with the yota rear end you gain a couple of inches. Anyone have the exact numbers?

I know for sure you do have to have a driveline made with a yota "knuckle" I am not sure if you need to shorten it. My guess would be it would not hurt to shorten it a little.

I made a post quite some time ago on the yota rear dimensions, the stock dawg's axle is like 58.5" from wms to wms, and if memory serves me right, the pre 89 yotas are like 55 or so...
