mazda 6 bolt vs toyota 5 bolt

Im looking to buy control arms from cando but not sure if i should go with the toyota or mazda set up , wondering what the aftermarket wheel selection is like for 6 bolts compared to 5 bolts!??HELP

Getting better, but still sucky. The 6 lug wheels have, until recently, been aimed towards lifted, 4wd trucks. To get a high offset/backspace, it'd have to be aluminum custom wheels. They're getting better now, but still, 5 lug wheels have 25 times more selections.

Unless you want to spend big bucks for a set of billets, go the toyota route. There jsut aren't very many if any high offset 6 lug wheels out there...

How much narrower is the toy rear?

i'm gettin 18's in the front and 20's in the back.
i'm going the 5 lug route here soon, just gonna find a toyota rear axle and getting a 5 lug swap for the front.

A toyota axle 89-95 is about 2" narrower than a mazda. If you go with the older toyota rear ends they are even more narrower.

anybody know any good links or manufactuers for billet wheels?

As far as manufacturers, there is Boyds, Billet Specialties ( I have those on my dawg they were really cool and made my wheels exactly as I asked right down to the goofy super positive offset! I say buy billet specialties) Budnik, Bonspeed, Intro, and Centerline.

probably a good idea to go with toyota stuff for chrome wheels hey? id like to get 20's on it some day, but am just trying to stay away from doing the xtra work i guess

Yes sir go with the yota stuff, its worth it because billets are freakin expensive!
