Its around $120-150 to get tires mounted and balanced here. Luckily I have access to my uncles tire machine, so I only need to have them balanced. I like mounting my own tires, because the idiots out here usually put them on backwards.

There is only one place in town that I trust to do my custom stuff and I stand right there and watch to make sure nothing happens to them. The owner knows me and how much of a picky pain in the ass I am when it comes to wheels.

A few years agoI had a set of 17" Budniks on my Caprice wagon. I went to the same place to have a slow leak repaired and one of the shop goons taco'ed the back side of one of the fronts. they called the owner back to look at what had happened and he went straight to the web to get Budnik's number and called them on the spot. That sold me on their customer service. Yeah they dicked up a wheel, but I got a new one out of it!

well i went to walmart and the guy said he couldn't balance one of my tires completly so he didn't charge me for anything. so i got my rims and tires for 100 with free mounting and balancing
