Man... I totally forgot about ground effects and Elite star wheels. Not to mention those crazy boom systems. Thats what got me interested in Minis in the first place....I remember seeing the Orion van at a show, It had like 20 15" subs and when it hit all of the birds in the area would land on the ground. That system would literally take your breath away!

yeah, i remember seein that van well or one like it in nashville @ a show....my other bud had a s-10 with 2 orion 15"vdc's and a couple phoenix gold amps.....he got this little rock chip in his windshield on the way to tech school one afternoon, when we got there, we'd always chill in the parkin lot before class, he cranked up the stereo, and the next thing you know, the bass had cracked the windshield in about a million pieces!

lol I love the old skool.
I'm going somewhat old skool with my truck, but keeping it pretty stock looking at the same time. Basically the truck will look like it got driven off the lot in '89 and got slightly modded during that era. Low static drop,17" Eagles (sawblade kind of style),bench seat, elephant ear mirrors, chrome rear bumper, clear tails, stock grille and all that jazz....

wow.. this is really stiring up memories. i had to pull a couple of older MT mags and see what was what.
(not my trucks - but really capture all the things we are talking about in 2 pages.. LOL.. pretty much.. oh and I know the one is an S-truck.. I didn't have time to keep looking for a mazdarossa before getting to work )
and here was mine after I raised it back up .. just before I sold it. (it was up and down like a yo-yo... i just couldn't decide) mmm scallops

I've posted these before, but, this is old school to me, me and a buddies truck from the 90's.
My buddy was rocking the fat fives, body kit, targa top, and boomin system.

those are sweet. I forgot about the 'celica' mirrors that your buddies truck was sporting
does anyone still actually make a convertible kit?
