Head Light upgrade

Definately do an H4 setup, get good quality hosuings... I have found hella and bosch european hosuings are the best. and they come with city light holders which are nice too. Then get good bulbs... silverstars suck ass, as do piaa's and coated bulb will have reduced light output, I dont care what anyone says the coating reduces the light. And blue bulbs are horrible in the rain and adverse weather, run a clear bulb or an all weather slightly yellow bulb to get the best output. As for wiring I have done it, or better re done it on a few vehicles, it makes a huge difference. Totally visibly noticeable. I always use 10 guage wiring and I usually get a distribution block from the battery and that way each light ( 4 2 high and 2 low ) have their own fuses, plus it looks cleaner. I like to use 25 amp fuses for each. Then use good quality 30 or 40 amp spst relays one for each beam and good quality connectors solder and heat shrink. And If "H4's Suck", your using the wrong Housings. Ebay lights are the suck.

i got the ones without the balast and they work ok.............

i got the euro housings, for my yota, are there was no direction, the beam was crap and i got the sylvania silverstar bulbs, not saying so much h4 sucks just keep the square housing and using h4's isnt great, get the ranger headlights those h4s work great

a true h4 hid kit has the balasts for each light mine didnt just the cheapo conversion but i like them for now and they are better than stock

well lol HID isnt exactly h4 , HID is totally different HID kicks ass, over anything no questions

i can imagine lol, h4 is a type of bulb, you cant use h4 on our trucks unless you do a euro conversion, which i think is crap lol, you can use euro housings with and h4 HID kit, which would be killer

well i dont know what the fukk i have then!!!!looks just like h4 bulb but it plugged into the stock plug
