You should do the H4 Conversion. Ranger headlights are cool too, but im sure the light output probably won't come close to comparing to the H4. (As long as it's a quality brand..I've got Bosch, Couldn't be Happier.)
My buddy just put Silverstar sealed beams in his truck and he says the difference isn't really even that noticable.
While your at it, Your wiring probably isn't the best for being in your truck 16 years..So if your looking for a little more light, you should upgrade your wiring. You can give them direct battery power (14.3 volts compared to what they might be at now)
If you've ever wired foglights with a Generic 5 prong relay, Its similar to that, what you would usually use as a switch will be your old wiring, hook up battery and ground, then use the 2 outputs for each headlight (Low/High, you need 2 relays) You should use all 12 guage wire.
I've heard you'll have up to 30% more light output by wiring these like this, Depending on how your wiring is. Test the voltage and see how much your getting first.
Now, Since your wiring will be upgraded, Go buy a set of Kimpex 80/100w Clear snowmobile/quad h4 bulbs. They've outlasted any bulb I have run. Another bulb that I like running is the Polaris amber Snowmachine Bulbs Theyre 55/110w.
Aim them , Then prepare to be flashed. Haha..Just a few suggestions anyway..Thats what Im running, Couldnt be happier for the money I've got into em.
