nubie, obviously

hey all, been checkin out the site for the past couple days, and decided i wanted to join. you all sound like a good bunch of guys and gals, and as a new owner of a new-to-me 93 b2200, figured this would be the place to get great info on my current daily driver proj. somethin' my dad and i have bs'd about for a few years now and finally have a good start in that i now own one...lol. anyway, lookin forward to getting into my project and the info you guys have already posted on some of the topics, has already helped with an idea of where i want to go with it. will have some pics up as soon as i read up on how to get em on here...

so here it is, what i gotta start with is the clutch, and not sure what else i'll run into from there, needs a head gasket, again not sure what i'll run into after removal of the head, a little frame rust that needs to be patched, but got that covered or will in the near future, a little minor body damage, i.e. dings dents and scratches, needs a new front bumber, big bad dent right in the middle, but no body damage from that, maybe a new grill, after engine though first comes a 2 in. drop and then adjust that to taste.... it's gonna take a while being that i only have sun/mon off. and i'm trying to go as cheap as safety will allow.....

blocks and a torsion drop is pretty cheap, can get you lower than your nose bleed stance, and only takes about 2 hours with the right tools...

yeah, my father was explaining all the ins and outs of that yesterday, that's what got me lookin around on the net, then i found you guys and i'm game to do what i gotta do to make it look good, then i saw what snowplow has done to his, with the convertable top, i think i'm gonna go in that direction. but back to the lowering, dad used to do this stuff to his cars when he was my age, and just lit up when i brought it up about my truck... so bonding time and nice ride....lol can't wait to get started....
