Hello!

I've had my 1984 B2000 a few months now. I picked her up last July for $200. Right now it has 180k miles, A/C works off and on, headgasket is leaking, and it needs a clutch/flywheel. All in all, still not bad for a $200 truck! Here are a couple of pics.





This is a pchop of roughly I want to do with it. I have a set of 15x7 chrome modulars to put on it (need some tires first) with BFG Radial T/As. I need to replace the radio in it (took it out to put in my BMW for now since someone stole the new one I had bought for it.)



Once the engine goes I'll be swapping in something new just not sure of what yet. I'll be starting a new thread concerning that shortly. For now I'm just going to fix it back up and put on a weber and I would like to ditch the stock throttle linkage BS and put in a cable, but I have no idea how....

It was so cheap b/c it ran horribly. The PO had rebuilt the topend of the carb (didn't pull it), new electrical tune up and few other bits and never could get it to run. I popped the hood, looked for a second and took the deal. She limped home, I pulled off a vacuum line bigger around than my thumb and replaced it with one that was lacking the huge hole in the side. Ran like a champ after that! HAHA!! God I love it! :-p

Welcome! Looks like a good buy for 2 bones. I like the orange pshop job, just maybe lose the stripes. I wish my '84 hadn't been a rusty turd.
