thanks man ill check into it...how is the fit?...the one i bought the other day is a latch but the guy had it pinned on and i found out why when i got home...wont latch for some reason...i just noticed you have the 73-79 clip so our hoods are differant anyway

is that a fiberglass or steel cowl hood?

Man fiberglass is sumthin special i swear..sticky nasty mess..i have a clean suit to wear when i start grinding and sanding heard its a itchy event..

Its fiberglass and fit is good.lil trimming and it will be even better

started grinding my fenders down with a 60grit dewalt flapper disc..found a few airpockets i ground out and relayerd..my painter showed up with me a gallonn of evercoat shorthair fiberglass body filler so i can start shaping em up.tomm..

off work today so after i dropped the kids off at school i got busy grinding and shaping and got to lay down the evercoat..this stuff builds good and i was able to get a good shape in the fenders..i work all weekend so mon imma head to my painters shop and do final prep to get some primer and color on em..

If you can do all that why are bodyguys telling me that you cant repair 01+ chevy fenders? I would take a shot at it to save $800!!!
