Good stuff to read fellas...
I was curious, I'm interested in swapping my 454 out of my 1979 Camper Special and was interested in swapping a 12v Cummins in and using some sort of auto transmission. Can anyone make some reccomendations to a preferred setup that I can build to make the installation a little easier and with fewer headaches than trying to source hard to find parts?

Wow.....funny thing about this thread is now i have a cummins powered square.....after lookin over my new truck the cummins swap looks pretty straightforward
