No pissin' match at all bud. I think your old pump was just going bad. 10 psi running and dropping to near nothing at WOT tells me it was on its last legs.

yea my pumps went tits up and part of the reson for going with lots more presure was my engine is a long ways from being stock and I'm toying with the idea of making some more changes for the better
So i am looking to run a Holley truck avenger 770 cfm carb with a Elderbrock Proformer idle-5500 rpm
Ignition is going to be a Msd RTR distributor, a Msd 6AL box, and a blaster # coil, with Msd wires.
Does that sound like it will take care of the change over from TBI to carb. Please let me know if this looks right and/or if I am missing anything? Thanks Guys.

piggybackin on this thread..i got a 305 with vortec heads for 100 bucks...i need a intake manifold for it for a carb...any help? all i found was edelbrock and professional products..any personal experience? thanks duders
