PUT IT THROUGH THE HOOD ADN THROW ANOTHER TURBO ON THAT BEOTCH!
Yeah, I'm gonna have to look into that. I'd go cowl induction if I needed an inch or two, but I ain't cuttin up my hood for the sake of this engine. If that's the case, I'll sell it and buy a Gear Vendors and call it good..
found the link to the club with the london double decker that is chopped .
eeeh on the verge of being called a heiden : you might be able to get a bodylift kit then you get the space under the hood you need but you whon't be able to lay it out no more .
the cheapy way i heared about is using hockeypucks as rubbers
I know this is all cummins stuff, but it may help
Hey man, I'm in the process of building an aluminum 4-71 Detroit with a 13 speed road ranger for my crew cab dually. You should look around at the Detroit forums:
There's plenty of guys over there who have transplanted the old two strokes into 1 ton and smaller pickups.
This thread has a pic of the engine bay of a mid 80s chevy with a 6V53. Not a lot of space, but certainly doable...
