Yeah, but that was a fuel injected Vortec, not an old school carb'd or t.b.i. small block.

The sub gets 10...on a good day...down hill...with the wind pushing it.

you also have 33" of inertia to get rolling that's also is playing hell on your gear ratio

My burb got 20 w/ the 6.2 diesel.

oh hell thats nothing I have a 3 1/2 cyl. honda thats gets 17mpg and 3qot

my 6.2 in my 88 crew gets 15-18.

well i have them all and my 97 Crewcab GMC w/ big block got 11 on a great day and 8 w/ load...... the diesel FORD on the other hand gets about 15 on the highway w/ the a/c @ 72...... and about 13 with a chevy behind it...lol

POWERSTROKE and nothing less.......

99 powerstroke auto cc dually 17-19mpg city when ther chip is turned down...

2000 f350 15 - 19 in town and highway pulling trailer about 14- 16 depending on speed
