i learned how to weld in high school and have always played around on my projects when I can. Easiest way to learn and improve is to find a welder, find some scrap, and play around. I've got a Lincoln Electric MIG welder I've used for years and find it easy as far as setup. With most metal cutting and placing, measurements are your friends. Measure a lot and repeat as to not mess up your replacement sheet. I'll post pictures of the cutting and placing when I get get the truck to the garage

Uh oh...I bought my old Datsun 521 back. May have to sell the Mazda. But I probably won't haha

I have a 75 ford courier I believe is the same truck as yours do you know any website that I can get all new weather striping for this truck by the way truck is looking good. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've enjoyed reading this thread. I'm working on restoring a 1976 Ford Courier. Can I ask which online seller sold you the floor pans?
