mega cab ranger build

Worked on the floor today, got one side done and the other side will be done tomorrow then I can weld them in the cab.
How many spot welds?

Got both sides of the floor done just need to weld them in the cab now!

Thanks. Did some more work on the floor today.
Finished tacking all around the edges.

Then trimmed some of it to do a test fit need to trim some more and it will be good.

The part of the floor by the door will be bent down.

Hoping to get the other side all welded tomorrow and then get them both in there. Then I can weld in the trans tunnel, then start on the fire wall.

So the framing is the top and the smooth side is the bottom? Won't that make carpeting a little harder?

Yeah it would make carpeting it harder but I'm not running any. There's a picture on the last page of what im doing with polished aluminum in each square.

Oh gotcha. I saw the pic but I never noticed the text under it until now. Stupid phone. That will look pretty bad ass.

Thanks, trying to do something different. I'll put fat mat sound deadener in each square to help with the noise some. My headliner will be polished aluminum as well as other things.
