I had some 9-wire layin' around so I just matched the colors up and soldered it together. All it does is lengthen it. You could just use separate wires individually if you wanted (think it's 8). You're right about them being so short, only downfall in my opinion. I did it on a dually too, but it was using an AVS switch box. Worked perfectly.

agreed that is the only thing i would like them to change on it. everything else is good in my opinion.
Or at least offer optional lengths or something.
Yeah that would have been a good Idea. I'll have to talk to them and see if they have ever thought of that or could do that.
