I had my 06 Tacoma done 4 yrs ago by a local shop in Tuscaloosa Alabama he done mine for 4000 and I have never had any problems out of. He narrowed the front suspension and rear end so I could run 10" wide wheels. It took a few months to figure out the front end but well worth the wait.

If you go to a shop and it takes them "months" to figure out the front suspension .. you went to the wrong shop .. do your home work, most of the stuff you can do your self and as far as the hard things go really look around and find a guy the knows his shit ... guys that really know whats goin on are few and far between ..!!!!!!!!!!!!

i did mine back in jan 06 its not as hard as you may think ...i used all factory arms and components and torsion bar style bag brackets.......some z- the frame ...some may make new arms .....but with the creative thinking of a poor white boy that wants to be low its just a matter of relocating the arms and running spindle spacers which cost me all of $3....im in pensacola florida and would be glad to lay out another 05+ tacostok-ishbaggedbodied
