Truck cranks over but wont start

yea it has a quarter tank, im thinking/hoping its just the spark plugs because I havent been getting good fuel mileage lately and the spark plugs have been in there for a long time. LOl all i wanted to do was cruise my truck today on my birthday, but of course.

I checked it out and replaced the distributor cap with a new one i had and my truck fired right up, im gonna change the spark plugs and spark plug wires now, to confirm. I appreciate your guys input and i thank god it wasnt something expensive lol

sweet. glad you got it running. we had the same problem at work with our dodge the other day, it ended up bein a pickup coil in the distributor, it wouldnt give spark or fuel . thats why i asked about fuel/spark
