Has anyone used DJM upper control arms to lay out on 22s? I know the 3500 arms are popular for being tubular but i cant seem to find any. My stock arms are binding at the balljoint still after reangling them. Need some imput...!

I used the DJM tubular ones on the tahoe I did. I used the uppers, lowers, and spindles all from DJM. I did end up narrowing the uppers 3/8" at the pivots to get it to camber enough to clear the fender. On the fullsize I am building now I made my own arms in conjunction with drop spindles.

Oh yeah, they are both on 24's. The Tahoe had 255/30s and the truck has 275/30. I built the arms on the truck 1-1/4" narrower.

i dont need to make mine camber any more than it does right now... i just dont know if it will lay out on 24s i have 22s right now with 295 30 22s i want to run 25 series 24s also. i think i have to notch my lowers also to lay 24s because i have almost no more room between the lower c arm and the frame..

I'm running stock control arms narrowed 1.5" and and angled to keep the ball joints from binding. Also I'm running a 255/30/24. Stock floored too

foxkid, your uppers are narrowed 1.5 inches or the lowers? did you run stock lowers or tubular for the 24s?

i have them right now that lay 28 inch wheels with no camber 24s are no big deal on any year model chevys. i have them narrowed 1 inch and 1.5 inches depending on what camber your looking for and how far of a body drop

Josh, he has the older body style chevy. 28's won't even come close to fitting on those.

Lowers are stock too, Just narrowed and beefed up. I'm thinking about doing some tubulars just for a cleaner look though.
