Crazy skull paint by BODYSHOT

Just wanted to share my latest cover truck creation with everyone. Honestly, this is one of those jobs where the pics really don't do the truck justice.
 

 

Great Work! That must have been at least a hundred hours of airbrushing. The pics look better than a few I have seen before.

I liked the truck much better before. I think this ruined it, dont get me wrong, the airbrush work is top notch, I just have never liked skull paint jobs. And the scheme is just odd. IMHO

The airbrushing work is pretty sick, but it lacks a flow to it. All the skulls dont really come together.

Thanks for the complements and the critiques. I liked it solid too but Jevon and I had been scheming for years to put some graphics on his Ranger. I guess airbrush and graphics aren't for everyone. And as far as "lacking flow" I don't really get that? I guess I could have Frasered it out with a stencil to fill in behind everything?  My intent was to create almost a pattern on the top half of the truck so that at a distance you didn't really notice all the detail until you got up on it. Probably could have used another coat of candy maybe. Plus his dad requested at least one skull in the paint and if you know the truck, it has some wicked skulls molded into the frame work in several places––including ones that you can't see. But hey, all I know is Jevon's truck gets WAY more looks and appreciation now than when it was solid blue. It's like a magnet. But I really do appreciate all your input regardless.
