am I in for a big headache? Just found the full swap with 5k on it and I am thinking of putting it in my yota. I've seen a honda motor in a mazda but never a toyota. have any of you? If I am going to do this what all would I keep from my existing harness? Wiring is the only thing I am afraid of at this point. and who would I get mounts from? anybody even make them? I know a guy who runs a race shop and builds road race cars so I may get him to make me a set if its a fesible swap. any feedback? I am also looking at a 347 stroker out of a fox body but I don't know about ford powering my toyota. would be more comfortable with chevy or anything else for that matter but I have found this motor so I'm considering it. damn Im torn and confused.
this would be interesting........what all are you getting with the K motor??

how do you plan on converting the K24 from front wheel drive to rear wheel drive?
yea k series motors are fwd.... I know everyone and there brother hates honda but those k series really are some nasty motors with a little boost
s2000 trans would work wouldn't it? I am getting a full swap minus trans if I choose to get it. I am still debating though. I've only seen one honda powered mini truck so far and it was a mazda so It would be a unique swap if I could get it to work. I know it will fit but I don't know if it will be worth it. s2000 trans would work wouldn't it? I am getting a full swap minus trans if I choose to get it. I am still debating though. that post looks wierd. wonder what happened to it. any way. I have looked around and haven't found anything yet for me to convert it over to rwd.
I think there is a ranger around here that has s2000 drivetrain. It actually wouldn't be hard to mount that engine to a rwd tranny. It's just kind of a pain. You'd probably have to make an adapter plate to mount tranny to engine. Then finding a clutch that will bolt to the flywheel and spline to that tranny. I think that would be the hardest part. And making sure clearances are right. If you really wanted to use the k engine you could just make it fwd. There is the evo truck on here that used the whole evo drivetrain. all wheel drive.
I kinda looked into this a little while back myself (actually it was probably 3 years ago LOL); however I was looking to bolt my H22 up to the S2000 tranny, but from what I was told the motor and the S2000 tranny spin in opposite directions, I have no idea of the K24's rotation though...
k series and the s2000's f series spin the same direction and ive seen a s2000 motor in a civic with a k series trans so id like to think it would work the other way around
