Anybody have a starter problem that they solved using a remote solenoid ?
Was told this would solve the problem I've been having where the starter will not engage one out of 10 or so times!
I've replace the starter a number of times, only to have it happen again!
have you tryed replaceing you battery?

Battery is a Yellow Top( 800+ AMPS), have a digital volt reading above the battery, shows 12.3 to 12.8 volts @ most times. Alternator is a 140 amp unit! The charging system is sound! Also the battery feed to the starter is a 0 gauge wire, along with a gound of the same from the battery to the frame & engine block!Too much draw between the ignition switch & the starter. I will take a reading on the stock trigger wire before & after.
I have replaced 3 Starters so far. and 3 starter relays. I actually hooked up a button under the hood for when it fails i can still drive if i need to. Today the problem started again. Let me know some ideas too please.
also to add to it, when this starting problem occurs my chceck engine light remains on LOL
