84 b2000 is 4 inches narrower. If you have a regular 4 piece notch welded on then you will have to have a toyota 1 1/4 wheel spacer. You will need the spacer to space the wheel away from the notch. If you backhalfed the frame you might not need the spacer, just depends on how you built the frame. Im running a 17" wheel, bded 3 1/4", with the 84 rearend with the toyota spacer, and still clear the 2wd bed with plenty of room.

I was coming here with a similar dilemma. What I am doing is replacing some stock B2600 wheels with some 17" Escalades. I'm In process of building the Notch to lay Frame. I have already conceded on the need to move My Four Link from the outside of the Frame to the inside forcing me to relocate of replace the gas tank. Tried to day to see if the wheels would clear the fenders. No I'm sure many of you know. What semi luck I do have is 2 years ago I bought parts B2600 for the front fenders and drilled the spot welds for the rear fenders and kept them as well. Now do I try to find a new B2600 Bed, weld these fenders to mine, or Narrow the rear? What forced me to cut up the other B2600 bed was I already had a LARGE 8 10" woofer Box Installed (See Profile) and just did not want to cut it out. Still don't but have cut into it a bit.

The bit of a arch you see here was to get the ride to sit level with the 15" Stock B2600 wheels at 3" off the ground.

Does the Toyota Rear use the same Lug pattern? 4" would be perfect for me. It would clear the fenders and the frame. I have about 3.5" from frame to Wheel now. Or would I need to narrow that too?

Some more photo I up-loaded

I have been out looking for a rear end and Here Is what I found.
My 89 Mazda B2200- 6 Lug, 59" wide, duel e-brake cable, Brake line drop Passenger side in Passenger side then out to drivers side.

85 Toyota 4x4- 6 lugs, 55" wide, Single e-brake cable, Brake line drop Passenger side T's to each side.

85 Nissan Truck- 6 lug, 55" wide, duel e-brake cable (like Mazda ??are ends the same??, Brake line drop Passenger side T's to each side.

What rear end would be best? Nissan or Toyota? Should I tie my self up on the brakes and how they are set up?

It doesn't matter what year the S-10/S-Blazer rear is as long as it's 2wd. They're all the same width from 82-04/05. The 4wd rears are 4" wider than the 2wd.
