I know this usually means your altinator is bad right

Well today I tubbed my taco and relocated a few things,....like my Fuse box,...Battery,...and the charcoal canister........And to make a long story short, when I put everything back together and stared mmy truck the emergancy brake light was on and won't go off???

any Ideas....

I haven't had an e-brake on this truck for quite a while btw,...if that helps anything?

thanks guys

check your brake fluid. if it has a level sensor in the master cylinder, it could be stuck to.

could possibly be the wire for your e-brake switch. If it's grounding out your e-brake light will come on.

if the fluid is low it doesnt mean "just top it off" the fluid stays in the lines and as your brake pads/shoes wear down it uses more fluid to push the pads (possibly need new brake pads)
