1jzgtte in an 89-95 yota

hey everyone I am trying to find out some info on this swap. I have just came across a complete 48k 1jzgtte twin turbo with 5 speed tranny and uncut harness. the guy who has it is halfway through converting it over to a single turbo with a t4 and 50mm wastegate. Do you guys think this swap would be better than just building up my 22re with a turbo and stroker kit? the stroker kit takes it up to a 2.6 and I have a garret t3/t4 turbo to put on it. anybody got some info, suggestions?
