your probably better off using aftermarket gauges but if you wanna use the stock ones the only problem your gonna have is that speedometer cable try http://speedometersolutions.com/ they can pretty much make whatever you need to get it done though. they also make and adapter that goes on the transmission so you can skip the mechanical speedo and use an electronic one.

shave the dash smooth and jus do a heads up display would b clean. .a buddy of mine is tryin 2 start a shop an on his demo truck he was gona do dat but ended up jus putn dakota digital n d console

why not move the stock cluster up to the middle of the front, between where the visors are. use a 92-95 unit, since the speedo is electric. use the sending unit from that year range for the tranny, or the whole tranny if the setup to get the signal isnt swapable.
then, for the heater, tie wire the position switch to defrost, the temp to full hot, and hot wire the blower motor on an on-off-on toggle switch. wire one side in with full power, the other with a resistor that knocks the voltage down to like 5 volts. then you have two speeds for it, and can completely remove the climate controls. for the dash light dimmer, just remove it and let full 12v into the dash lights so its gone too. as for the stereo, hide it in the console or glove box. hopefully this gives you some ideas.

im not using the stock stuff......................................and im wanting to put "everything up on the headliner(fiberglassed in)

well, then take the heater control idea and work with it from there. it def consolidates a large part into a not large function.
