havin some trouble removing my steering shaft from the fire wall in my 87 toyota pickup not really sure how the slip yoke attaches in there, thanks for the help!

you need to remove the bolt holding it on at the end of the steering column down near the firewall, then you need to take the two bolts out of the firewall plate, there is a plate with a rubber bushing that is attached to the steering shaft..its what seals the opening where the shaft goes thru the firewall, and its attached to the shaft.
