87 yota to the rockers??????????

from the stock body mount location to the rocker is 2.5"...so if by saying you did a 2 1/4" you measured from the floor to the inside of the door i can imagine but...no, the rocker to the body mounts is 2.5"

they are smaller somewhere.. i just cant remember where. maybe it was just the width which wouldnt make two shits about the b/d. like i said, im by far no type of fabber. hell, ive never used a welder!

with the ridges in the floor, some spots the side plates are as short as 2" & as tall as 2 1/2" so i just went in the middle...oh well, either way it lays all the way out.

84-88 is a little bit narrower body, but not by much. I think the fender lines are different, which may be why a 22 can fit under the fenders.
