2wd 4runner?

no they are completely different. A 2wd 4runner has 4wd suspension parts. The best thing to do is put a 2wd standard cab pickup frame under it.

Is there a simple way to drop it? I plan on getting one and using it as a daily.

it might be coils and a 4link out back. its bars up front. could crank the bars down and cut the rear coils. or replace them with cut fullsize coils to retain some ride.

I agree just twist the torsions, and cut coils in the back. its will give you a stiffer ride in back.
