normally you would set the motor tail-down at 3 degrees.

They never did cover the steering so don't waste your time diggin thru a stack of mags lookin for the article. As far as doing it this way instead of just z-ing it I agree with you 100% It seemed like doing it this way wasn't as easy as it could be. I suppose that you could leave the motor in while you did it though which would be a plus for some. I know you can leave it in to z as well but it seems like it would make the job more of a pain than necessary. Different strokes for different folks I suppose...
