I can see where your coming from though. But i guess that maybe the statement/question was a bit drawn out. Its not the price alone either. Quality and a job done right matters. Its not that it matters someone else is charging a higher price its the fact that i wanted to know why, IF they were doing something diff or better so that i could understand the price diff. But if not, why pay the diff. So once again its not to start drama or put anyone out. As i have stated that many times, its to get a better understanding of why its is they way it is.
have your ever PAID to haved tires mounted on semi's its hard to find someone to do it and its not free........ and like trevor said go buy NICE centercaps and lug covers those arent free either. I also will tell you and have seen it many times I dont care how much polishing you do you CAN tell the difference between a new wheel and a wheel with a million miles on it....

I have been in this business almost 10 years now and believe me you get what you pay for. I use the products that I have confidence in. I would prefer the customer spend the money right the first time than to have to spend double fixing someones shortcuts to make a product cheaper. You are not the first person on this site to ask these questions and I am sure you wont be the last.
If you have any more questions about my products or products I sell just give me a call and I will be more than happy to give you any info you want on them.
This is so true ... I bought 24's from Lock and I still dont have the tires mounted! No one around here (Central FL) will touch them. I bought the tires from a friend of mine, so I got a helluva deal on the tires, but I cant find anyone to mount them just yet. Also, I am in the process of polishing them so that I can clear them (well, I have been working on them off and on, mostly off, for several months now).
I work in a sales type environment, and it is true that different people have different things that excite them. Some only focus on price, some only focus on quality, and then again there can be a blend of the two. I can say that I bought my wheels from Lock and although it took a little longer than planned, I was not in a real rush and he stayed in contact with me and answered all my questions. The contact and Q&A is very important to me and if I have to pay more to have that kind of customer service, then so be it. The wheels arrived looking good and polished (with some big 4.5 inch holes in them!), and some of my friends asked my why I wanted to spend more time on sanding and polishing them, until I reminded them about how persnickity I am ... then they said, "Oooohhhh yeaaah". I am going to clear my wheels, so I will never have another chance to polish them again after clearing.
I guess my point is this ... I could have gotten the wheels cheaper and more locally, but due to my penchant for certain things I got all I wanted from TWAT (mainly Trevor) and the "slightly" higher price was more than worth it to me. Please remember that price is not always about the actual product ...
Thanks for the compliment Brad. Whenever you come back through this neck of the woods bring you wheels and I will mount them for you.
Whenever you get the wheels cleared send me a picture of them so I can see the finished product.
