If you don't have to deal with emissions, most of it can be removed. But it may throw a check engien light. But basically anything that goes to the small little sensors attached to the same panel can be removed.

Its a tech book I got from the school. It doesn't say a brand or anything. Just says it was updated in 1997, and on the front is says "Toyota Pickup 1973 through 1995". Its a big brown book. They got some that where updated in 2004 last year and where selling the duplicate copies.
