Here I put this together over the last week, hope someone can find this little "How To" useful...

Ready to start installing the lense.

Make sure the metal is sanded really good where you will be gluing in the lense.

Sand the lense good where the glue will be placed.

Apply the glue to the lense then put the lense in the hole and bolt down the LED light housing to hold pressure on the lense while dring.

The lense shoud be sticking out a 1/8 or more.

I blocked sanded the lense down with 180 grit untill they where flush.

Then I wiped with metal glaze putty to fill in any small gaps around the lense.

After sanding the putty back dow the lense are ready for primer. Just prime right over the lense.

Now they are ready for paint.

Mask off the lense before painting then unmasf befor clear and clear right over the lense.

And then you should end up with something like what you see here. The tailgate is now ready for Sanding and Buffing. The lights are underneath the clear and you cant feel them..
