installing a tach in a 93 toyota truck

I am installing new aftermarket gauges in my 93 and I am having trouble with the tach wiring. it has pos and neg wires and then a wire for the neg side of the coil. 93's don't have a regular coil setup with positive and negative leads so does anybody know where this wire goes?
