Yes I did . He said he wanted to fly one of his guys out to grind on the frame to make clearance for the bolt that was hitting. I declined his offer as grinding on my frame did not seem like a solution to me. I spent alot of money on this truck at their shop ..If its that close where it hits that means there wasn't enough clearance. The shop that fixed it moved the bar mount away from the frame and put a real notch in the frame to make sure it could never hit. Mistakes are fine and happen. A mistake is not lowering my truck how I wanted it the first time and then telling me it was ready. After I told them this was crazy as we all went over this when I dropped it off and I even showed them a picture and video of how low I wanted it.
They corrected that mistake( which I payed an additional 2 grand ) for the extra work and parts involved in lowering it more to the level that it should have been if they did it right the first go around. The rear was still not low enough like I wanted when I picked it up and Bill said it couldn't go any lower without redoing everything.
Hmmm... I payed to have it lowered where the rim lips touched the fender lips. This is the exact video I showed them. Never mind it being a chevy And my truck being a ford. Money wasnt an issue.
This is how it looked when they first called and said it was finished.
Then after I payed 2k more for the extra work and parts this is the picture I was sent saying it was finished.
Rear rim lip was about 1.5 inches from the fender.
I take it to another shop that fixes everything that was wrong with the truck and presto. Just how it was supposed to be the first time. Rim lips touching fender lips...
