He is running a 1996 3/4 ton 8 lug rearend with the 8 to 10lug adapters.. This way he doesnt have to do any extra work to tuck semi's.. the only reason the fender has to be stretched is the body drop and bags..

i want a 3/4 ton rear but i need the semi's and adapters to go with it..

In my case, with the 3/4 ton rearend, all of my suspension had to be relocated to the inside of the frame rails.... but i was bagging and 4-linking it anyways, so it didnt matter. If I can take some good pictures of it I will. I just hate the way my 4-link is setup and dont want to take pictures of it until we re-do it LOL

Ok so there is alot of suspension modding to do for the 3/4 rearend to fit on the 1 ton right?

ok the reason for all the cuts that you ask about are for different reasons. the ONE going down the center of the fender (vertical cut above the wheel) is because you are gunn have to remove some of the fender there ,NOT add fiberglass. the other cuts that you are asking about on the top of the fender is because your gunna have to actually stretch the fenders about 4 inches total so those are the cuts that allow you to add the new fiberglass to the part of the fender that mounts to the bed. its alot of work to do this mod but IMO the fenders look better stretched look more proportioned to the truck but somepeople like it some dont. if your not that good with fiberglass or have someone that is good at it working on them i wouldnt recommend doing them.

i got quite a few pics of mine when i did the green truck if you need more pics let me know or just have any questions.

the green fenders are mine in the pic i will try and explain this the best i can. when you cut them long ways from left to right and pull the front section out it becomes wider then the section bolted to the truck. so i cut a inch and a half section out of the middle of the wheel well were your why tape is to shrink the wheel opeining in. wich looks better imo makes the wheels look bigger also when layed out or lifted. the side sections on the truck were your why tape is that are cut at an angle were streetched out around four inches on the back section and 3 inches on the front and then redrilled the bed sides and bolted them on. all of this is to make the fenders look proportional and keep the factory shape. u can bring them str8 out and glass them with out making those additional cuts but they look extremely boxy and just dont flow with the truck to me. i got all my help from justin the green one with the bike ur talkin about. it is an extreme pain in the ass takes alot of time but worth it in the end like someone said they dont like stretched fenders i think stock width fenders look to tiny with the big wheels under them. its all in what you like when you see one stretched beside one not you will see how much better they look. when you are finished the goal is for them to be wider but look stock thats the reason for the three assitional cuts you got to play with it and try and get all the angles flowing together. good luck

HERES WHAT I WAS TOLD ABOUT THE C&C REAR

It will not directly bolt it. You can not run 4 22s out back. You Can run outside 22s and inside 16s.
The outside width of the rear on those trucks is around 36 inches. You'll have to move the leafs inside the frame rail which will cause other things to be moved.

dont know if i have any pics of the holes redrilled without the fenders on.. ill look and see. but its very simple. your top row of holes wont chance because your not raising them. then just have to mesure out how much you stretched them and redrill them just that distance out.
