plating a doored ride?

3/16" angle iron, its level with the bottom of the doors though, not under the doors.

i hate being a hi-jacker but does anybody have pics or a link of the process? dooring a ride that is

Well no I don't plan I dragging it I just wanna lay it out when parked. But I figured I would get it wide enough to weld it to the inner rocker for extra strength then cap off the ends.

i use 1/4 on my fullsize,but i drag alot.i would use 3/16,if u decide to drag u will have enough there to protect your doors,and it is better to be safe than sorry

i used 3/16 X 4 strap, notice it bending at the leading edges though.. i like the 3/16 angle idea from Hopntoy!

Well I think it's pretty clear that I'm going to use 3/16 to do it. Thanks for all the input.
