carbon fiber fenders for gen 3 s10

any manufacturer out there that puts out carbon fiber fenders for 98+ s-10's. I have found some c.f. hoods but no fenders it has all been fiberglas. If not does anybody have any input on fiberglass fenders. Did they like them or is the weight savings not worth it. I would just prefer the strength of carbon fiber

if you get in a wreck, it doesn't matter what they are made of.

technically its a gen 2.5 but fenders are the same from 94 up! only difference is interior and grille from 97 to 98+

Gen 3??? The only Gen 3 they have come out with was in one of the last mini truckin I think that was I believe down in Brazil and it was sick as hell. Why would you care about weight on a Dime, you bag them and drag them you might as well keep it all metal. Leave the carbon fiber and fiberglass fenders to the imports unless it is fiberglass filler. LOL

saving weight is my goal on this vehicle it is the imports that I want to beat but to do that you need to use the same advancements as they are. I already have a bag and drag c10 truck so this is going to be a track vehicle. Plus I was always under the impression there were a gen 1, 2, and 3 despite how little the differences there are.

I'm gonna be honest with you man, this probably is not the best site to be seeking info on building an S-10 that you plan on racing imports with at the track...

Maybe an import site or chevy site or something would offer more info for you.

But to answer your question, no, i'm sure no one makes carbon fiber fenders for an S10-as you would probably be the only buyer

if this is gonna be a so called track truck, just build a stronger motor to push it. duh. you wanna play with imports and such, unless your racing stock 4 door civics, you can be riding on a bare frame with 4 wheels and a motor, its still gonna be slow.
